I recommend 'I Am Mother' movie if you haven't watched it yet. It has such a good complex robot-human familial relationship
Plus the robot itself was a body suit instead of a full-on CG iirc so the movement is so smooth and well performed I think you'll like it

Man I love practical effects robots. I just finished it and mother did nothing wrong, she's so cute
am i crazy or is Deviser a genderswapped adaptation of this? It's the exact same story, but I feel like deviser told it better and there was more horror and tension. The ending was better in this, though. All in all I enjoyed both. Thanks for the rec!
