How did you feel about the conclusion? (Once youāve watched it!) I thought the score was phenomenal (especially one of the last scenes of pt 5), and the acting was too! (Containing my excitement and hopefully that was vague enough so as not to give any spoilers to you in case you sneak onto Tumblr before viewing)
Man I just had the biggest, silliest, happiest nerd smile on my face for the entire final hour. :DĀ
The score was excellent.Ā I, too, wanna keep this answer fairly vague, so folks checkinā their dash can avoid spoilers if they havenāt seen it yet, THEREFORE short answer: Round of applause for DCTV, they stuck the landing on this one, IMO.
Super Alex!! (Via Chyler Leighās Instagram). Any thoughts to what this could be? (Either COIE related, what theyāre filming now or 100th episode?)
Indeed! :D
I do have some thoughts! Itās all just wild speculation but Iām gonna tossĀ āem under a read more just in case folks wanna avoid any spoiler-based spitballing.
Thoughts on the first three hours? Fifteen minutes into the Supergirl hour I was crying in my dorm room and my roommate thought I was insane. Canāt believe we have to wait a month now for the conclusion though
I really liked it!
Totally understand. Any time the sad, slow, Supergirl theme music started to play, it got me right in the feelings.
It hasnāt quite sunk in yet, that weāre not getting ANY Arrowverse stuff for a MONTH, but oof, yeah, itās gonna be a rough couple of weeks.
Overall: A really, reallyĀ top-notch effort, from the entire Arrowverse collection of shows, to capture the spirit of the original comic. It was never gonna be a faithful adaptation, because this universe of heroes is just differentĀ from the DC comics canon of the 1980s...but man they got so much stuff in there! And it was so much fun! But also very serious! But mostly fun to watch the destruction of everything we know and love! XD
(And then you factor in all of the crazy behind-the-scenes stuff that goes into making it work...and itās just. So awesome, that they achieved so much.)
Cannot WAIT to see how it wraps up. :D
(Also I just gotta say a TRUE HIGHLIGHT was the score. Man they outdid themselves.)
How do you feel about the impending Crisis? (I for one am pumped!! Especially because Alex and baby Kent will be there!)
I am VERY excited; I love big, ridiculous Superhero crossover stuff, and this is arguably (at least on the DC side of things) the BIGGEST, MOST RIDICULOUS of comic crossovers, so. Canāt wait. :D

After your latest Smol Danvers post I have to ask. How do you get your lines so neat? I use Procreate on my iPad and I canāt get the lines drawn out without looking ājaggedā for the life of me!
Ah, the age-old struggle of jagged lines! A couple of things you can check to improve line quality are your brush and pressure settings. (For procreate/iPad, the pressure should kind of be good to go, but it never hurts to double check.) Also, you can check your canvas settings as well. If the canvas is too small, or you donāt have enough DPI, you could be getting a kind of rough, pixelated look to your lines.Ā Ā
Mostly, though, theĀ āsmooth lineā thing just comes from a lot of practice!
This was one of the first pieces of digital art I made using a tablet:Ā
MMMMM, LOOK AT THOSE WOBBLY LINES.
And Iāve been using the same model of tablet and drawing program since I started, so for me at least, it really just did come down to practice, practice, practice. :)Ā

Thank you for posting all of your great artwork the last few weeks!!! Iāve been looking forward to these showing up on my feed (and probably have become more excited to see these than the Supergirl premiere itself!!!)
You are very welcome! Thanks for following along! :DĀ
Hi! If you donāt mind me asking, where did you get your countdown cards printed? I think theyāre adorable!!
Hello!
Thank you! This particular deck came from MPC (makeplayingcards.com) The print quality is really great, and they have several options for card materials and finishes!Ā
