If you really think you’re too good/cool/musically talented to like pop music then wow you are boring as hell
Something that bugs me a lot is people who consider themselves Christians but have beliefs that don't follow what being a Christian is. This is a major turnoff to unbelievers. It's why people consider us to be hypocrites. You can't pick and choose what parts of the bible you are going to believe in and follow. Some parts may be incredibly hard to want to believe because they show that you do wrong things. Lots of people just want to push this all to the side but is that really how you should live your life?
I realize that by saying what I'm about to say might make me lose followers but it needs to be said. Churches that say that homosexuality is okay and not a sin are wrong. It is clearly stated in the bible that it is a sin. Those churches are just choosing to "skip over" parts of the bible.
Romans 1:26-27 "For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature;and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error."
All of Romans 1:22-32 talks about how sin separates us from God and that all of us no matter how "bad" our sin may be don't deserve to be forgiven. But our God is such a loving, compassionate, and graceful God that he sent his son to die for ALL of our sins. I'm not saying that homosexual's sins are worse than mine because they are not. Everyone sins and everyone's sin is just as bad as the next persons from God's eyes. But those who can read the bible and call themselves Christians and still think that homosexuality is not a sin are wrong.
1) Just because "God didn't say it isn't okay" doesn't mean that it is okay. God didn't say that a lot of things are not okay but that doesn't mean that we all don't have an understanding that it is wrong. Also, God does state that homosexuality is wrong in many different places in the bible.
2) What about those who "were just born that way?" WELCOME TO HUMANITY. We were all born to sin. That is the way we were created. It is a constant choice if you are going to give into the temptation you were born with or if you are going to follow God's plan for you're life and not give into temptation.
In no way am I saying that this part of the bible is just singling out homosexuality. I think that it is a great reminder for everyone no matter what the sin is that you are struggling with. It reminds us that yes we are all born sinners and that we should all be separated from God and punished for out actions. NO sin is "worse" than another. The wonderful thing about all of this is our God is a God of GRACE. No matter how "big" you screw up God will still accept you with arms open wide if you choose to follow him and ask him for forgiveness. NO sin is too great for you to be saved. God's grace is sufficient for EVERYONE. And finally, you were created for FAR MORE than to live naturally.
Being a Christian isn't easy. Especially when you get to passages like this. Don't choose to skip over it because "it's just to hard to follow." Choose to read it and apply it to your life. Doing this causes your relationship with God to grow an incredible amount. Feeling bad about your actions is a good thing. Feeling convicted shows that you have a relationship with God and want to be forgiven.
Also in no way am I saying that Christians should hate on homosexuals. Hate the sin but love the sinner. God doesn't hate homosexuals he loves them an incredible amount and wants them to be saved just as much as he wants any sinner to be saved.

Just one little thing I can't stand.. Is when people makes fun or say nasty things of homosexuals. Everyone is equal, we all sin mostly everyday. Who ever knows your best friend or family member might be homosexual when you're judging other people right in their faces.
