Ever think of a world without hate?
One where we can love who we want,
With no judgment of how we identify,
Where people don’t see gay, straight or bi,
People see people with the same love inside.
A world where I can kiss my girlfriend, but nobody will stare,
And if they do it won’t be full of disgust thinking we’re a disgraceful pair,
Instead they’ll think how beautiful it is that we’re in love,
How they can see that through all bad things I always manage to put her above.
How great it would be to have a world like that.
Where a guy can transition into a girl, and a girl into a guy,
With no troubles or worries that people will tell lies,
Saying you were born with those parts so that is what you are,
That you are wrong or confused and will never get far.
In a world without hatred we would all be free,
From the torture of degrading comments,
And being bashed for who we love,
No more contemplating suicide over
The reoccurring feeling that no one cares and that you are not enough,
Not enough to tell your parents “mom, dad, I’m gay”,
Not enough to help make the world change,
Not enough to overpower the so called gender roles,
Not even enough to stand up and hang the pride flag on a pole.
In this world everyone will feel they are enough to make a change.
Because in this world there won’t be any shame,
No shame in coming out to the ones you call, family,
No shame in being a sensitive guy,
No shame in being a women and manly,
No shame in being trans-guy,
Ever think of a world without hate?
Where lovers are lovers,
And there’s no debate.
Though we legalized gay marriage in America,
In this world we took it further than the states.
