I'm curious about your take on something. When Sarge, Grif and Caboose take Epsilon out into the desert and find Tucker, Caboose ends up giving Tucker the rundown on the last season(and a half counting Relocated), explaining that Church was not a ghost, but an AI. Tucker's reaction is "Yeah, I knew that. You guys didn't? Pay fucking attention, what are you guys paying attention to?" Now I think this can go either way, but do you think Tucker actually knew that Church was an AI, and if so about when do you think he figured it out, or do you think he's just rolling with it and trying to play it cool in front of the others in that moment?
((Oh, I love this question! Yeah, I'm firmly in the camp that Tucker was just playing it cool, because that's absolutely in character for him. The Reds just gave him all the information he needed to act like he already knew? Yeah, he's totally gonna pull that trick on them just to fuck with them and feel superior. And while they never make it very obvious (it seems like Tucker takes the whole reveal in stride either way), it's a good way for him to process that bombshell without saying as much--Tucker at this point is definitely not one to be honest with his feelings.
Of course, I also believe it's not super important either way, because it was clearly just added in to get Tucker in the loop on the plot without wasting unnecessary screentime while also providing the opportunity for a funny joke.
Don't get me wrong, I do believe that Tucker is a lot more observant than he lets on (similarly to Grif), but I don't think there's much to get out of 'Tucker knew all along,' especially since they didn't go anywhere with it.))
