I finished Rootbound last night! I found it a v easy read so I blazed through it bahaha. I REALLY enjoyed it, esp the characterization for Punz and Eugene. The mystery was very intriguing (if not a little horrifying at parts, which I liked), and the original characters made for the book were all enjoyable too!
I really, REALLY like the direction she went for Eugene in this, both in terms of his past AND his future! I felt like it suited him. The Rapunzel focused parts and her thought processes were also very in character feeling for me, and I appreciate that what she went through (in the movie) and how she felt about it were handled the way they were.
No spoilers but it DID end with a sequel hook, which I do hope there'll be more Tangled from this author! I'd be first in line to read more.
I forgot about this, but there was one time when, while playing DE!, Teddy was reading me a bedtime story and I actually fell asleep. I love him and his stories so much that I felt bad for passing out 😭

WHA Manga Spoilers All
As someone who had a migraine today, I see you Qifrey-has-chronic-migraines posters and I love you. I also want to posit that maybe, just maybe, it's our poorly hydrated, never sleeps man who might, in fact, have some issues due to repeated memory wipe spells. Plus, Qifrey caring for Olly seems to be less tree inducing than vice versa.
I now support Olly, former burnout gifted kid, as a migraine haver.
