Who put a sticker on the Corrupted Mii?
The EU is introducing new packaging regulations that are going to kill small businesses in Europe
basically now every business has to pay for a repreaentative in EVERY EU COUNTRY THEY WANT TO SELL TO and also the business owners are responsible for the packaging fees
the representative fees can be anywhere upwards of 100-300 euros PER COUNTRY annually and there are no differences or exemptions for small businesses
this means that while big companies can absorb the costs easily, a lot of small businesses have had to pause international shipping to EU countries outside their own, which is crushing
i only know about this because i follow a lot of small artists on insta and a lot of them have made posts announcing the changes over the last week or so
it's under the guise of "reducing waste from online shopping packaging" but it's specifically to kill small businesses
HOWEVER
there is a petition to stop this, it has 25,000 signatures already and you don't have to be an EU resident to sign, all you need to have is an email address

can someone explain to me the phenomenon of a person asking who my favourite music artists are and then when i reply with 'oh it's okay you won't know them' they insist on me telling them anyway and then when they don't know them they go 'oh 😐 I don't know them'. like 😭😭 if only someone could have warned you.
is there a real reason behind this that I'm missing? is it a social thing that i should know? I just can't keep saying 'well...... do you know anna bates or houndmouth or the donkeys or roadkill ghost choir or the 4411' and having people stare blankly at me because then I have no fucking idea what to say to that and how to continue the conversation. any tips?
