Mignon and her double with co-star Eva Gabor, who was born on this day in 1919. Two separate dogs played the part of Mignon, Lisa Douglas's pampered Yorkshire Terrier on television sitcom Green Acres (1965-1971). They were two of the many animals on the series trained by Frank Inn, who was also the animal trainer on creator Paul Henning's other series Petticoat Junction and The Beverly Hillbillies. The character of Mignon (which means "cute") in French, appeared frequently in Season 1, semi-frequently in Season 2, but subsequent seasons featured her rarely, if at all, and she was the only animal from the original series not featured in Return to Green Acres (1990). _____________________________ #evagabor #botd #greenacres #yorkshireterriers #mignon #classictv #animalactors #frankinn #petticoatjunction #paulhenning #thebeverlyhillbillies #eddiealbert #zsazsagabor #thegaborsisters #lisadouglas #oliverwendelldouglas #hooterville #pixley #darlingiloveyoubutgivemeparkavenue #yorkiesofinstagram #classictelevision #arnoldziffel https://www.instagram.com/p/CLL1gVFApNE/?igshid=19zfwghzg4x7j
