This mermaid ponders the jellyfish rather than an orb.

2020 day 5 mermaid was a jellyfish and I really need to return to complex skirt ruffles.

day 4 of 2020 was a cyborg mermaid and I really liked how the tail and it’s colors came out.

my 3rd mermaid of my first mermay definitely shows how much more I’ve learned about profiles. I’ve improved so much more these past four years and it's nice to see the differences from this piece to my more recent work. The colors are funky and fun, and I was going funky with outlines in this piece.

The second mermaid of my first mermay. I actually really like the color scheme I used on this one, I should bring it back in a different mermaid. 

My very first mermay was done during the beginnings of COVID as a way to keep myself drawing while stuck at home. Then it turned into a sort of yearly obligation. But I’m happy I’ve done it. It lets me see the progression of my art over the years.
