Meet-cute only exists in television drama and novel books, where they keep all the delusions and fictional stories that have slim to no chance on chancing upon one in reality. But meeting celebrity, on the other hands–are something that she’s accustomed too many times due her job. Although it is not her job to interview stars because she’s only in charge for the morning shows, she bumped onto them too many times in the hallway of the broadcasting station.
Bumping on them are sometimes a pain in the ass because of how cocky they are, some are a delight to many for the friendliness they showcased. There’s many versions of stars that she has been able to witness (thanks to her previous job as a radio disc jokey as well, that is) and working in the media means that she’ll have more insight about the industry’s gossips. Of course the most popular and sensational stars become the main topic of the peer’s talk and the eyes of media. Take a look at EXO, for example. She had the privilege to acquainted with some of them thanks to the early days she worked as a Radio DJ, but nowadays that she’s becoming the news anchor Eunae and not the Radio DJ Eunae she doesn’t even bother to turn her head when they passed by.
(Not even today, either).
That is, until she accidentally step her foot into EXO’s waiting room one day after her morning shows ended–mistaking it for her changing room due its close location and a flustered Choi Eunae could only stutter while holding onto the doorknob, bowing several times to anyone whom see her first.
“ Ah–sorry… I was mistaking this room for mine. I-I’m really sorry for bothering you! ”
“Maybe if you ask nicely he’ll say yes, ever think about that?.. Well if you don’t then there’s no way it’s happening, we got the same thing for three weeks straight, Jongin.” Phone pressed to ear and his shirt in his free hand it’s a wonder he hasn’t knocked something over off the shelf holding all the makeup as he tries getting his shirt over his head. Honestly by all means he was in no way good at multitasking.
Currently he had Jongin whining about wanting to go out for barbecue after the show in one ear and his shirt he was wrestling with in the other and- “When the hell are you guys getting here. I’m alone in here, this is why I hate split schedules-- huh? Oh.. eh.. true. Plus i’m pretty excited about today, it’s been awhile since we’ve done an interview where we can say whatever with no worries of promotions.” Finally with his shirt on he leans back on the counter, reaching up to take his phone with his other hand. “Yea exactly. So i’ll just see you when you get here, yea? Tell Suho hyung that I left my jacket in the van and to be sure to bring it to me, it’s freezing outside and I nearly froze to death just getting here. Ok? ..Yea..ok yea. See ya.” He lets out a sigh as he drops his arm, tucking his phone into his pocket. He should finish getting changed but he just felt so lazy at the moment...
With a groan he pushes himself away from the counter, turning to the mirror behind him to brush his hair away from his eyes before he went over to one of the chairs that held the jeans he was guna wear. He had no issues with what he was currently wearing but he’s been wearing them all morning while filming for his up coming drama, changing in and out of them for costumes and a change of clothes was a blessing.
Though- Just as he’s about to change into said blessing he hears the door open, smiling as he turns to it. “Ah, you guys came fast, where’s my jacke-.....” He slowly trails off when he see a women come in, eyebrow raising in question. Though not for long when he realizes by her words it was an honest mistake. “It’s alright, it happens.” He laughs, leaning back against the counter again. There’s a small pause before he squints. “You’re Eunae, right? You’ve spoken to Chanyeol and Jongae before I think. Awhile ago though-”
