Blossoms and the statue of Etienne Marcel outside the Hotel de Ville, Paris. A competition was launched back in 1882 to produce the statue of Etienne Marcel the provost of the city of Paris in the 1300s. The French sculptor Jean Antoine Idrac was chosen for the commission.
