I Visited the lovely garden under the Eiffel Tower this week while waiting for visitors to descend from their climb to the top. (I still can't believe this area and these trees could be the ones at risk and where the proposed project "blends greenwashing with concrete" just to transform the Eiffel Tower site into part of the 2024 Olympic Games. Does the Parisian mayor really plan the destruction of dozens of these trees I strolled through this week. I thought she actually cared about ecology in her quest to turn Paris into a city without cars. I worried when I saw two people in uniform taking measurements of the trees in this area.
