I want to read more interracial couple Caitvi. People don’t really consider the racial differences when writing their dynamic, only the socio economic differences like “oh Cait grew up rich so she doesn’t understand a bunch of shi and vi grew up dirt broke so blah blah blah” but like they’re bound to have different upbringings due to race too (also fact that one has a bunch of siblings and the other has one double her age/only child).
Caitlyn is Asian yet people focus more on the fact that she’s born privileged like yeah she was but like let’s dig deeper guys even money can’t overrun heritage. I wanna read about their different preferred meals, practices, holidays, clothing (even traditional) styles, sports, instruments, desserts, political view may even vary too, medicinal remedies, plays, moralities, opinions on police (because depending on where u live they do vary, I live with silly police force (we think they’re a joke cuz they’re bad at their job but they don’t jump people and are pretty down to earth) near me so I’ve never held any hate towards them until I started hearing about what’s been going on in America). I want to read about the challenges and discoveries I hate that I only read (sometimes bad) British Caitlyn and mostly American vi stereotypes.
I wish people played with their ethnicities a bit like I would love for writers and artists (some have and it’s wonderful) to give them varied ethical backgrounds. I wanna see Cait being mixed with different Asian ethnicities not just Chinese or Japanese (cuz I think it’s cool) like imagine Thai/Viet/filipino/bengali/mongolian/korean etc you get the point
and vi doesn’t have to be American all the time (I personally think she fits the Eastern Europe lifestyle very well as someone who’s Balkan) there’s other whites out there lol. She could be western or southern yk like Netherlands, Russian, Bulgarian, hell French or Italian, hell make her from the uk lol maybe she travelled overseas and doesn’t have the accent haha, Swiss, Slovakian, Lithuanian, Romanian guys there’s so fucking many of them
