The food provided at the manor was a mystery. True, sometimes meals were created by someone in particular, but often times they just seemed to appear… As if by magic. And while Emily didn’t believe in such things in the past, she was certainly believing it now that she was trapped here. Regardless, it was rare for her to enjoy a home cooked meal in a place like this. The food here was fine, but there was just something special about food made for others to enjoy, not just to keep them alive and relatively satisfied.

That was why she seemed so surprised by the First Officer’s offer. The food looked delightful, something Emily could already tell she would enjoy. She didn’t realize he had the skill of cooking food…but, then again, she supposed she didn’t really know anything about any of the other Survivors except what she needed to know. Medical issues, abilities in matches, but not so much recreational activities. This was nice… It reminded her that they were all human.

⚔️ // air  tore  through  her  chest  in  heavy  ,  ragged  gasps.  voice  rasped  with  a  deep-seated  PAIN  that  coursed  through  to  her  very  bones. her  head  pounded.  the  small  hands  that  grasped  tightly  her  sublime  sword  shook  with  adrenaline  —  and  the  effort  it  took  to  remain  standing.  she  had  overused  her  power  ,  and  yet  the  agony  was  but  a  SMALL  price  to  pay  as  the  miscreants  robed  in  black  swarmed  the  temple  grounds.  there  were  so  many.  TOO  many.  and  with  the  sword  of  the  creator  flickering  in  her  hands  as  energy  waned  into  exhaustion  ,  byleth  cursed  the  damned  fool’s  STUBBORNNESS.

    She’d noticed the pair of Plasma Grunts quickly, seemingly everywhere the duo turned. It hadn’t been until her gaze had accidentally met one of them had she realized they were watching her. Attempting to pretend she hadn’t taken notice in this, Hilda leaned in closer to Cheren, as though she were showing him something. “It’s a pair of grunts, they’re definitely watching us.”

“Dionysus! It’s good to hear from you again, mate! It’s been too long since our last chat! I do hope you’re well. Have any more interesting anecdotes to share?” Zagreus adored the God of Wine and Madness – he felt like they got along swimmingly whenever they had the chance to interact! Grinning from ear-to-ear, Zagreus plonks himself down, ready for another grand tale.
