Ahhh thank you! <3 This is a hard-ish one because I have relatively few songs for them as opposed to a lot of my other OTPs (and ngl that’s because Ukraine and Estonia aren’t a canon ship and have very little screen time together, so it’s hard to get a super-strong sense of what their relationship would be like). BUT I still have a couple songs I associate with them, so here are three (in no particular order):

- If No One Will Listen by Kelly Clarkson - because there’s a lot of potential for hurt/comfort between them due to their shared traumas, and I imagine them having that sort of relationship where they can (and do) come to each other with any problem and receive consolation and support. 

- Just a Kiss by Lady Antebellum - because I imagine them having a very … not necessarily ‘slow burn’ relationship, but one that developed organically out of many years (centuries?) of close friendship, and didn’t rush to get physical/sensual very quickly (if at all).

- I See the Light from Disney’s Tangled - so this one doesn’t so have so much to do with their personalities, but it always reminds me of them because back in 2011/12ish when I was making these little ‘multilanguage’ playlists for my Hetalia OTPs, this was the only song I could find (probably due to the movie having been released most recently) that was dubbed in both Estonian and Ukrainian. So I pretty much had no choice but to give it to them. But apart from that, there’s a very gentle, hopeful and optimistic message to the song, about love being a light in the darkness and the path to a better future, which I think fits their relationship well, even if the exact circumstances of the characters don’t match.

I actually don’t have all that many AUs for pairings in general, and the only one I can think of specifically for EstUkr is this … bizarre Swan Lake AU I dreamed up a few years ago. As in, literally dreamed up in my sleep and then wrote it down when I woke up. It’s 100% a weird crack thing and not something I actually put effort into (or have even really thought about since) but it’s entertaining enough.

My favorite Hetalia AU is the Hunger Games AU that one of my good friends on FFN wrote up years ago and which first got me into Hetalia, but Estonia and Ukraine didn’t even interact in that. Even in the ‘everybody lives AUs’ we made for this AU, I think I’d put in a bit of CanUkr but not EstUkr.

And then there’s … the big, highly personal AU I have for, like, all my fandoms thrown together, which is in part based off the Hunger Games AU but also a million other things, and yeah, EstUkr gets together there, but I haven’t really put much thought into the pairing other than that.
