but she really wouldnt do much. she'd hit music stores if they were still open by the time she escaped. definitely grab a bite to eat from a 24 place. sometimes she would just lurk on a playground and listen to music and post aesthetically to her secret social profiles.

where she really liked to linger were places with crowds. she liked to lurk outside clubs, just to listen to the music, admire peoples outfits, observe people living in the moment. shes drawn to places like that, i think, as a bard. she especially liked seeing fights, be ones that spill out from bars between drunk men or high pitched cat fights in the lines for clubs, or even couples attacked each other with pointed personal insults.

once she gets her job, her routine changes. doc is the one giving her this job, teaching her coding and training her on the ins and outs of the different types of codes and tasks the game of sburb will give her, under the guise of some odd, secret job. to her, this is spy/criminal in the way movies are; dramatic and dangerous and thrilling and sexy and adult. shes "hacking" into machines with secret punch hole code methods. shes alchemizing things, notably her scissorKind specibus. she also finally agrees to start going to school + taking her gymnastics class seriously-- after all, she's getting a nice allowance from the Doc, she should listen to him and take care of her body and mind.

she's especially devoted when shes rewarded for reaching a certain echeladder (earned by killing Enemies in her dreams, the white chess people specifically; she doesnt know how shes having these dreams but she finds it terribly fun and dangerous-- after all she can get hurt in real life if her "dreamself" gets too banged up.) with a secret link to... a normal server, with five other people on it? teens her age, even? this is weird-- wait, dave? dave-- dave strider? its me, esme durand!!! no no no really, loook!!!
