While I'm still in my post-concert hyper mode:
OKAY. I think I can properly form typed sentences now. Almost. EEEEEEE.
If you guys ever get the chance, do yourself a favor and go see BAND FROM TV. Just do it, please. You will not be disappointed. At all. And, all the money they make goes to charity--how can you say no to that?!
All right, let's recap this shit. (I get into weird, good moods after concerts...)
So, the concert was up at the Falls. (Niagara Falls, to clarify.)Β We got there mid-afternoon and my best friend and I didn't feel like gambling so we decided to sit in front of the theater until dinner to look out for celebrities. We saw Jesse Spencer and Bob Guiney walk by but they were trying to be all stealthy and blend in; by the time we realized who it was they were well on their way to wherever they were going. We had dinner and then figured we'd just sit in our spot until the doors opened. Unfortunately, none of the band walked by that time...
BUT we had REALLY GOOD seats. Center floor, 11 rows from the stage. I was the third seat from the end of the aisle. We had a fantastic view of everyone for the entire show, meaning I was content the moment my favorite ginger appeared on stage. But, to be fair, everyone was wonderful!
...AND SINCE I WAS EXTREMELY CLOSE TO THE AISLE GUESS WHO WALKED BY A COUPLE TIMES WHILE SINGING?
SCOTT GRIMES. (And Adrian Pasdar--who, HOLY SHIT, is really, reallyΒ fucking attractive and suddenly I miss watching Heroes--Greg Grunberg, Bob Guiney, and James Denton.)
SCOTT FUCKING GRIMES SANG 'OH DARLING' FOUR FEET AWAY FROM ME. THE MAN WHO PLAYED MALARKEY. MY MORTAR BOY. SINGING A BEATLES SONG AND BEING RIDICULOUSLY HANDSOME WITHIN REACHING DISTANCE. FROM ME.
I just wanted to be all: LET ME LOVE YOU MALARK!!
I APOLOGIZE FOR THE CAPS ABUSE BUT I JUST CANNOT HANDLE MY FEELINGS OVER THIS.
This band is just so damn talented, you guys. And they're all gorgeous, too. Their voices blended together extremely well and they put onΒ a hell of a show. It was absolutely one of the most fun concerts I've attended, no lie. The best part is that they were having a lot of fun themselvesΒ :) Also, they joke around a lot and have, collectively, a great sense of humor and stage presence. I won't ramble on with specifics--unless you want them, of course!--but a few highlights:
Jesse Spencer, whose Australian accent is UNF-worthy, plays fiddle like a complete badass. His rendition of 'The Devil Went Down to Georgia' was excellent.
Bob Guiney (of 'Bachelor' fame...) giving out roses to audience members with Scott while he sang 'Oh Darling'. I WAS SO CLOSE TO GETTING ONE. /sadface
Scott was wearing a Captain America shirt for half the show. I was silently flailing.
BASICALLY I LOVED THE ENTIRE THING AND EVERYONE WAS SO GREAT AND I WOULD SEE THEM AGAIN WITHOUT A SECOND THOUGHT.
