ERANA 🗣‼️

I like to think of them as childhood friends that grew up together and developed feelings for each other. In my hcs Erol was already born in Germany, while Rana moved there in early childhood, so Erol helped her to kinda navigate around and protected her from bullys, cuz let's be real they've probably faced a lot of xenophobia. So the two of them were kind of an outcast that sticked together and rolled like that.

In general they have a playful and mischievous nature, and I guess they were causing a lot of troubles to their parents and each family thought it was the bad influence of their child's friend. That's why when Rana's parents found out Erol is willing to become a football player and their daughter is willing to marry him, they forbid these two from going out with each other. Do you really think they would listen tho?

Since they both do everything together, that means sports too. Dunno if Rana would do football as well, but some athletes stuff for sure. Btw, Rana, as it occurs to me, is the one that gives an impression of a shy, reserved girl, but is actually a party animal once you get to know her. That's why they're not only gym, but also drinking buddies.

However, she is pretty careless and tends to hide important things like her health condition just to not make others worried. That, in my head, could also partially be the reason she passes away: perhaps she had some complications after giving birth to Deniz, like kidney infection or some shit, but didn't pay too much attention to that at first and even when things got bad she still kept her mouth shut, until it was too late.

If Erol was already a work-until-midnight man, now he's taken that to the absolute and almost never leaves the facility, just because he wants to find a distraction from grief because of his love's death, anger, because Rana was silent about a very important thing, and self-blame, because he didn't see the signs.
