"Water is Life" ===================== “If there is magic on this planet, it is contained in water.” Poor economic condition, difficult landscape, poor technology and insufficient planning are causing wastage of water in Nepal. The sources of drinking water are getting polluted due to garbage, sewage, improper use and lack of awareness about the need for safe drinking water. But the problem of water in the Hilly and Himalayan regions of Nepal has a different story. It is not as easy as it can be generated by digging some feet from water boring technique in Low land areas like Terai regions. We need to be aware of finding major necessities like source of water and be sure if it belongs to the Government or a person. Then, after receiving permission, we need to build a reservoir for storing water for a long-time consumption. Then, we need to get lengthy pipelines to get the water to distant places and pipes for disposal of waste and excess water. Truly water is life and it values more in the Himalayan regions who needs to travel long distance to get water carrying big loads. Make a difference, be a part of our next initiative.
