Remember when I said he was lying?! He was lying! He has been lying since the very beginning. Last time, I wrote something about him, I had those theories in mind:

He possibly lied about having a family. We saw no pictures and nothing about them. -> I can accept that maybe he truly has a family. He said he was married and had a daughter. Okay, why not. However, we know he is an orphan and he also knows Day and Night are also orphans.

He skipped school on the 29 to avoid being near anyone because of the “curse”. -> This... I'm not so sure anymore. I think it's another reason.

He knows about the “curse” and he knows the consequences. -> This one is definitely true. He knows everything about it and I also think he knows the true loophole that works for him.

He may know how to avoid them and have his own “Day or Night” counterpart near him (maybe if he has a family, his wife could be this person) -> I don't think this is true anymore. He doesn't seem to have someone around him that could act as a counterpart to avoid the curse. At least no someone alive.

He doesn’t want to share how to avoid the “curse” and we will discover why in the upcoming episodes… -> So now, my theory about that his that someone has to die on the 29, but if you want to avoid any of your loved ones to die on this time, you just have to "sacrifice" someone else on the 29. What better way to do it than making sure someone is born on the 29 and that will bear the curse for you. It's wild I know, but the fact he "induced" Day's birth specifically so he would be born on the 29 is the reason why I believe this. I also think creepy man was born on the 29 and knows about the teacher's "misdeeds".

Is he the true villain in the story (with the curse)? If what he did to avoid the "curse" was something everyone can do, why would he hide it from Day and Night? You would believe that if someone was living the same nightmare as you and you had the solution you would give it to them too. Either it's something nefarious or the teacher wants to keep it only for him for a reason we don't know yet.
