I know you are very busy, but this is the third time this month that both you and Leliana have jilted me for our weekly interludes. I must admit, I am beginning to take it personally.Â

Seeing as I have found myself alone again during the time that is meant to be for the advisors to meet, I am taking a few minutes to myself. It has been quite a while since I’ve written, and I hope that when I look back on the trials and tribulations these journals have documented some twenty years from now, I will do so with kinder eyes.Â
For now, I can do no such thing.Â
I am burning the candle at both ends.

And then there is Cullen.Â
I think he has been avoiding me since last week. I should have known this would happen. I wish I could say I regret telling him my feelings, but I do not. Better to know than to pine endlessly, I suppose.Â
The problem is, it has not ended. My heart aches every time I look at him. I still do not understand. He did not deny that he shares my feelings…so why?Â
The tea has just arrived, so I will pause my entry here. I hope to have more time later, but I doubt it.

Date: 8 Harvestmere, 9:41 Dragon
Overseeing Physician: P. TOLWIGHT
Patient: JOSEPHINE MONTILYET
Admitted yesterday around two in the afternoon. Patient was found unconscious on the floor of her office by her aide.
Fever, chills, violent emesis and abdominal pain, breathing difficulties. Delirium reached a peak around midnight, but the patient has since succumbed to coma. Concerned about the possibility of blindness, but not able to investigate until the patient wakes.
Strongly suspect poison in the patient's afternoon tea, possibly Quiet Death or Adder’s Kiss. Samples of tea have been turned over to Leliana and Seeker Pentaghast for further investigation.Â

Nurse - Given these poisons, this coma could last between a few days and a few weeks, or longer. I know her friends are scared, but we can make no promises. She is not out of the woods yet.Â
