This fic did get recced (recked?) already, but it was part of a batch, so I would like to give it its own post for emphasis because it absolutely deserves it: we should ride this wave to shore by @clarionglass! It’s a chatfic (of which multiple people have said “I’m not usually into chatfics, but”) and an Everyone Is Friends/Nobody Dies AU, which was apparently only supposed to be a couple chapters long but got completely out of hand and accidentally developed a remarkably coherent plot with a really satisfying conclusion! I heartily recommend it for post-200 recovery.

Fic rec! There's a fic I'm finishing right now to cope with the finale (it got recommended to me recently). It's about Jon and Martin after they wake up in Somewhere Else, navigating a new world, grieving, coming to terms with what they did in mag200 (and during the Apocalypse in general), working through their trauma and fixing their relationship, how they reconnect, reconcile with each other and heal. VERY angsty, but also comforting (we get to see the boys process what they've gone through and heal), it has a good ending and it's masterfully written. Canon compliant. It's the best tma fic I've ever come across and it gave me as many emotions as the finale. I cried during some parts, and some parts made me smile. I can't recommend it enough, it's absolutey brilliant. The fic is here: it will be this, always

I’m so glad to see some of the in-universe, post-Change memes again!!!! Those were so golden they even got a shoutout from Jonny in the S5 Q&A !!!! xD

Fun detail: According to Anil (who wrote the poems), the person with whom Martin was playing Hide the Packet of Biscuits was meant to be Rosie! (I love the fact that, of all the subjects, that was the one that gets a sonnet.)
