Correct use of rubber roller

Assemble the bearings properly

Select the bearings whose specifications and models meet the design requirements. During bearing assembly, apply a layer of lubricating oil on the surface, and then use the special sleeve to evenly force the bearing, so that it can be installed in place smoothly. In order to avoid damage to the bearing, do not apply force directly on the bearing surface.

2. Regulate the working pressure of rubber roller

In the process of operating, proper pressure must be maintained between rubber rollers and the machines.

3. Check the rubber roller and bearings regularly

Check the quality of rubber roller and bearings regularly, if the bearing becomes flexible, it must be replaced immediately. If the roller doesn’t work well, it should be repaired or replaced.

Maintenance of rubber roller

1. Keep lubricated

Rubber coated rollers should be lubricated regularly. Or it will cause the wear of roller shaft head and bearings and lead to the poor production quality. If there is no effective lubrication during operation for a long time, it will also cause the heating of the bearing and shaft, which will lead to the rubber surface worn and crack.

2. Cleaning of rubber roller

The surface of high quality rubber roller is generally smooth and clean. However, due to the long-term contact with industrial materials, the rubber roller surface will inevitably have residues accumulated. So in daily maintenance of rubber roller, cleaning should be attached great importance to.

3. Regular maintenance 

After 2 to 3 months of use, the diameter of rubber roller will gradually become smaller, which will affect the accurate transmission of production materials. Now the rubber roller shall be maintained and the pressure between rollers shall be readjusted.
