cuties :3 this is the first time shinichi has appeared as himself since they became friends, and i feel like they're both really enjoying getting to banter like this as true equals. there's such levity in shinichi's voice. they're like friend flirting
and now it's occurred to me that shinichi might be deliberately roping heiji into his deduction display as a way of fully waving away the stink of the failed disguise. "it's fine, he's not some stalker weirdo. we're friends and this impersonation thing is an inside joke (and technically i started it...)"
