Where do I start? Huh? Whereeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee? 

— Do I tell you that NOLA was “LIT” and filled with the splendor of diversity because every wrestling fan regardless of race or creed were roaming the streets of New Orleans?

— Do I tell you that this was the BUCKET LIST ITEM I DIDN’T KNOW I NEEDED in my whole entire life? 

— Do I just off load all the pictures of my goofy shenanigans in my smartphone and let you fill in the blanks? 

I’m still in absolute awe of #WrestleMania34. I’m still quite over stimulate with the GRANDEUR of it all. So let me just start at NOLA!!!!

I love New Orleans for a myriad of reasons. It is a mysterious city with such a dubious but heartwarming past. However, NOLA is where my eclectic quirkiness mixes well with people who redefine “southern fringe”.  I love New Orleans for the openness of its people. A smile, a laugh, or a quick dialogue about the mundane or obscure — it happens with ease in New Orleans.

So for my first WrestleMania to be set in the city I love dearly set the tone for total enjoyment.  As soon as I stepped foot out of the car, I knew a fun time was going to be had.

The WWE has always been known for its signage and it did not disappoint in NOLA. I was particularly fond of the banners and mobile sites, pointed out to me.

If you are going to do WrestleMania, may I suggest you do the entire weekend with #WWEAxxess and Mania together. That’s what really blew my mind. I was enveloped in an entire EXPERIENCE. It wasn’t just a show, it was a full on experience that created tactile memories for years to come.

What got me all emotional was how much being in that atmosphere remind me of my days of watching wrestling with my Dad. It was my Dad that first introduced me to wrestling when I was 5 years old.  This was the first time in years (since his death – RIP) that his memory was conjured consistently across an entire weekend. All of my memories of him yelling at the television, talking about “Andre the Giant”, yelling about “Junkyard Dog” or mentioned “Dusty Rhodes” came flooding back to me in full force. A couple of times when I was in #WWEAxxess I think I kept looking up at the rafters in the convention center because it felt like my Dad’s spirit was with me. It was very surreal.

Looking at all the families and kids made me releases that wrestling bonds fans across generations, across races, across economic classes and across religions / creeds.

IT IS AMAZING AND SPECTACULAR ENTERTAINMENT. MAKING MEMORIES ONE MANIA AT A TIME. My senses were on full overload at #WWEAxxess. Oh my word, I felt like a kid again. I was so cool and I was so frantic. I kept sending my Future CEO pictures of everything. I’m sure my fellow co-parent was annoyed to no end. I HAD FUN. I LAUGHED AND SMILED AND I SWEAR MY CHEEKS HURT A SMIDGE WHEN I WENT TO SLEEP.

Now the MAIN EVENT – WRESTLEMANIA WAS INNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNSANE. Please, get your whole life. Insanely amazing.

WrestleMania is a show of epic proportions. I gained a new respect for the WWE as a business and entertainment organization.  And hats off a billion times to their road / production crew. (You see these pictures???? Bananas!!!!!!)

YES, YES, YES… I WAS CHEERING FOR ROMAN REIGNS AND HE GOT OBLITERATED BY BROCK LESNAR! DAMNIT…. THAT’S NOT HOW IT WORKED IN MY HEAD. ROMAN AS SUPPOSED TO WIN.

Each match held kept my attention, though I was more invested in some story lines and matches than others – but overall I was NOT DISAPPOINTED IN THE LEAST. I enjoyed myself at the core of my soul. Again, I sound like a broken record but I created some tactile memories for years to come.

WOULD I RECOMMEND WRESTLEMANIA? YAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

WOULD I GO TO WRESTLEMANIA, AGAIN? YES. YES I CERTAINLY WOULD.

IS NOLA ALL THAT AND A BAG OF CHIPS? ALWAYS.

WWE is a world class entertainment organization and in my book they put on a spectacular world class event.
