You can use the shapes and colors of your characters in scene design as a sort of visual leitmotif, and you can use contrasting colors and shapes to add tension and drama.

Let me use Arcane as an example because they did this stuff so well.

In this scene from act one of Arcane, Vi is stepping into a fight that will shape her as a person. The dominant color in this scene is a musty green, setting a backdrop for Vi with her hot pink hair.  

If I color drop from this picture, we can see that these colors are on almost opposite sides of the color wheel. 

This really helps to make Vi stand out against everything else and impress upon you the weight that this scene has for Vi’s character development.

Jinx is a character who, throughout all of season one, is teetering on the fence between to different personas. Powder and Jinx. Her costume design uses two main colors—Fuchsia and Blue.

But these two colors aren't limited to her costume. These colors are also used to paint the world around her, locked in a dance with each other in scenes surrounding Jinx, with one or the other color dominating in scenes where one particular persona prevails over the other.

You end up with scenes like this, when Jinx goes full berserk

And scenes like this, when Pow-Pow cries for help.

I was just thinking about MBTI and cognitive functions and stuff and the nature of reality and God and everything (ya know, like you do) and I noticed a little something...

So first I wanna get some definitions straight, just as a brief explanation for those that don't know, and a refresher for those that do. In MBTI:

Thinking: How we judge true from false

Feeling: How we judge good from bad

Sensing: Our perception of physical reality

iNtuition: Our perception of metaphysical reality

Introversion: In orientation towards the self

Extraversion: In orientation towards the object

Now get this,

Thinking: God is the absolute Truth (John 14:6)

Feeling: God is the absolute Good (Psalm 18:30)

Sensing: God is absolute Reality (Col. 1:17 and Hebrews 13:8)

iNtuition: God is absolute Archetype (Col. 1:15-17)

Introversion: God is the absolute Self (Exodus 3:14)

If you think something sucks, be honest with yourself and admit it. You think it sucks. If you think that you're a terrible person, you have to acknowledge that — you think you're a terrible person.

But you must, you must, remember that your honest opinions are only opinions. They may or may not be true.

Acknowledge it as an honest opinion and then examine the issue in as objective a manner as possible.

16. What is something you wish you knew when you were younger? :/

17. If the building caught on fire, what would you grab as you made your retreat?

18. Without giving a name, describe the character & appearance of a person you know/knew.

19. You have one wish. No restrictions. What do you wish for?

19.5. More wishes? Sure, fine, okay — what do you do with this unlimited power?

20. What frightens you?

21. Tell me about your OC. You choose which one.

22. If there is one thing you want me to learn from you, what is it?

23. Draw a self portrait.

24. Why isn't there a ninth question?

25. Draw someone else's OC.

26. Tell a joke.

27. Do you want kids? Why?/Why not?

28. What do you want to be when you grow up? Any ideas?

29. Do you believe in a God? Why?/Why not?

30. What is a character that you like? Why do you like them?

31. What is a characteristic that you highly value in other people? Do you have this characteristic?

32. What is your goal in life? Do you think it's a good one? Do you even have one?

33. Descibe a place of your own imagination. Be detailed.

34. Why are you even here? Where did you come from?

35. How would you like to die? Your choice, only you have to die.

36. How do you think you come across to other people?

37. What is Love? Seriously.

38. You must change at least one thing about your past. What do you change?

39. What character trope do you think you best fit? (Hero, Mentor, Trickster, Annoying Sidekick, etc.)

40. Would you ever kill someone?

41. Is there anyone you would literally die for?

42. What is the meaning of life?

43. Is there any question in particular you were hoping someone would ask?

These asks are all designed to make you think, so please take your time to answer. Some of these Asks require you to make something physical, take your time at that too. And of course, have fun! ☕
