Okay here’s a French word that I can never remember even though I need it all the time
‘Entend/ entendu’ and so forth.
My reason for needing it?
When French people say ‘I heard about ....’ they don’t use ‘écouter’ - the word for ‘to hear’ but instead in this condition it would be ‘j’ai entendu parler’ or ‘I hear about’ is ‘j’entends parler de...’
So yeah hope you guys make good use of this! (I for sure am not as I can never remember goddamn entendu it’s like my brain is blocking it out - it’s not a traumatic accident that I need to block out thank you brain)

George Orwell (1984)
