Twenty years ago today, the #Astros hosted the reigning world champion #Yankees in the first (exhibition) #BaseballGame in Houston’s newest #stadium, #EnronField, currently #MinuteMaidPark. The Astros then rallied for four eighth-inning runs to take a 6-5 victory over the two-time defending World Series champion Yankees. The construction crew rushed to get the stadium ready for the inaugural game. Note the #ClockTower is still missing it’s green canopy that was built in the following weeks.
