Big thanks to my friend Krista @smythkrista for introducing me to the fabulous #ScenicBoatTour that cruises the chain of lakes in #WinterPark, #Florida. The lakes and connecting canals are extraordinary — as are some of the most beautiful homes I have ever seen that surround the lakes and canals. @RollinsCollege also takes up a nice chunk of shoreline as well. I first went to the @DaliMuseum around 2008 — it was a completely different structure then. This magnificent building opened in 2011. Like #Dalí himself, the edifice is groundbreaking, provocative, stylish, smart and super fun. It’s the kind of museum I would go to repeatedly just to sit in the beautiful sculpture garden or contemplate in the meditation space. I found this absolute gem during my trip through #StPeterburg’s oldest living museum today, the botanical #SunkenGardens. Yep, that’s the one and only #YogiBerra in a mid-1960s @Mets uniform posing with Miss Sunken Gardens to help publicize the legendary #Florida roadside attraction. Why they’re both holding the wrong end of the bat is a mystery to me as well.
