Bokuto experiencing the exact same excruciating process Akaashi did when coming to terms with someone he loves not needing him anymore, the feeling of being irrelevant and abandoned. Bokuto feeling jealous, frustrated, confused, and pining after someone who has taken the first steps down a path that divides from his just when he realized he never wants to part from Akaashi. Just. Bo hurting over Akaashi like Akaashi had hurt over him.

Akaashi has a secret Instagram page with like 4K followers. No one knows about it except Ennoshita because Ennoshita follows him.

Akaashi gets jealous of Oikawa over Bokuto while Bokuto gets jealous of Ennoshita over Akaashi.

Bokuto and Kuroo bond over a lot of weird, awkward, hilarious things but the latest thing is sort of... mean. Kuroo admits that while he likes Hinata and loves how Kenma is starting to branch out on his own, making friends and being comfortable with other people on his own, Kuroo is still gripped with a sort of vague panic that Kenma would leave him. Bokuto didn't fully understand before. But when Akaashi exchanges numbers with the sleepy second-string kid from Karasuno (Ennoshita, from what Hinata told him), Bokuto has been a bit on edge.
