Things I'll Never Say ~ One-Shot For Enn-The-Prep
This is after the Truth or Dare fic but I'm making it that they never DTR after the party, but rather, at school.
Enn swallowed her nerves, trying hard not to appear flustered as the residential head slacker sauntered towards her and Payton. Payton gave her a strange look before turning her gaze behind Enn.
"Hey, Wes. Is something wrong?" Payton questioned the slacker who shrugged his shoulders.
"Can't a guy sit down with his favourite preps?" Wes asked the dark skinned prep who shrugged her shoulders. "Well, Enn? Can I sit with you two ladies?"
Enn could practically feel his body heat radiating off of him by how close he stood behind her. Not wanting to seem rude, she nodded quickly and kept reading her textbook. "Sure, no issues here," she answered, trying to appear unbothered by his presence.
Ever since that Truth or Dare party, she could barely look at him without remembering the kiss. His lips pressed against hers, the heat that had passed through them. She remembered her fear of the sudden change, but most of all...she wanted it again.
"What are you reading?" Wes asked her casually, hoping she would look up but alas, she seemed even more into the textbook than before. Sad thing was, Enn didn't even remember what she was reading. This textbook itself, a learning guide for a specific topic/subject, had been reduced to nothing more than a mere device to help her not look at the slacker.
"It's an ancient history textbook," Enn lied, hoping it sounded solid enough for him not to question her further.
"What class are you taking? Because I'm pretty sure you don't take any type of histoy class."
Great, he caught her out on her lie.
Although she should have expected it, Wes was a master at lying and there was no way in the world Enn could beat him at his own game.
"Maybe I'm just reading it for the fun of it," Enn snapped a little, standing up and gathering her things without looking at Wes. She then turned her eyes onto Payton who was witnessing this. "I'll talk to you later."
Without another word, Enn ambled off, having no clear destination in mind but wanted to be away from the hangout. Finally, she ended up under the bleaches near the football field and leaned against a pole, letting out a sigh.
What a great way to keep your cool, Enn, she scolded herself mentally, hating the fact that her heart continued to pound at the thought of him. Maybe an ice coffee will help calm me down...
With her mind made up, she turned to leave, only to find Wes marching towards her, his eyes focused solely on her. Before she could escape, he grabbed her wrist and pinned her against the pole she had previously been leaning on.
"Wes, let me go," Enn demanded but he didn't, instead, his lips crashed against hers without a word. The electric spark, the same one she had felt at the party, was happening here. His lips had captured hers, his bottom one covering hers. Enn felt herself melt into Wes, her arms snaking themselves around his neck as he removed his hand from her wrist. He cupped her face in his hands, deepening the kiss and extracting a small moan from the prep.
Hearing this, Wes pulled back with a small smirk, his eyes filled desire, happiness and possessiveness. Both of them were trying to catch their breaths as Enn's faces flushed red in embarrassment.
"I will not let you go. You're mine. You were mine at the party and you are mine now. No guy will kiss you or touch you," Wes told her, his voice low as his gazed pierced hers.
Swallowing and trying to ignore the butterflies in her stomach, Enn faced him with the determination that helped create the school. "Same goes for you. No other girl kisses you or does anything like this with you. And you call yourself my boyfriend."
Wes grinned at her. "How about we seal the deal then?"
Enn beamed as their lips connected once again.
A one-shot for enn-the-prep as a thankyou for helping me organise Carlotta's blog. I'm honestly hopeless with these kinds of things. I will not apologise.
Note: I am Australian so there are words that might look mis-spelt to you but there are correct in the Australian english.
