Steps to clean up your workspace:
Organize anything on the floor: There really shouldn’t be anything on the floor. Put them all in their right place, or if they don’t have a spot, make one, create one, or trash it.
Clear the surfaces: It doesn’t matter if it is going back on, CLEAR IT ALL.
Wash the surfaces: No one likes a dirty surface.
Drawers and Organizers: Especaily if they haven’t been cleaned in a while, thease tend to get very dirty. Empty them out and clean it before you put it back, because there is usualy going to be some kind of dirt in there.
Clean your electronics: Make sure to clean it physicaly, the screen nice and reflective, as well as the folders on your computer, and maybe change your walpaper if you haven’t in a while. This isn’t paticularily nessesary, but I feel that it adds a nice touch.
WIRES!! Wires really suck, and make sure that all your cords are sorted, and if you have a lot, labeled, for maixmum neatness
Extra Asthetics: This is the time when you do whatever you want, and pull your entire workspace together. Shift everything to make it look nice, add anything to make it look better.
