I love the quirky precision of German, and the country and culture fascinate me.
Yay, finally someone who's also saying something about the country/culture! :)

I’m doing German/Spanish minors; I’m studying international affairs—Germany is pretty important—and would like to live in central Europe.
That's interesting... and I can guarantee that Europe is an amazing continent to live on, depending on which country/city you choose of course.

I took German because I had discovered some musicals, and I wanted to understand them. I like reading and watching movies.
Really? I don’t think I’ve ever heard of any German musicals that are known internationally. I love musicals myself, but the ones I’ve seen were usually German adaptations of British or American ones… Anyways, it’s great that they kept you learning the language.
