So last time i said Miyake and Taniyama failed at least one class right?

one of these classes is second year english. the teacher was horrible at teaching and instead of asking for help they decided to fail out of spite.

they both BARELY passed taking chemistry/science classes. they caused so many accidental chemical spills it's not even funny (RUI WAS NOT INVOLVED SOMEHOW. THEY HAD SEPARATE SCIENCE CLASS PERIODS) this happened on multiple occasions. the amount of fines they got for accidentally damaging property with chemicals was enough to make the average high schooler go broke. (again, Rui was not involved in any way, shape, or form. They had their class in the first half of the day and he had his science in the second half of the day)

Said chemical spills got them banned from doing the class labs, to the point they had to stand outside the room while these went down because somehow, someway if they were in the room some chemical would get spilled by them. (they didn't even mean it they'd just somehow touch something from across the room, doing lord knows what, and they'd end up spilling it!)

Cue multiple times of scenes like this playing out:

"dude I didn't touch it at all it just fucking fell and now there's a hole in the floor!!"

"first off, you bumped the table, second off WHY was the CONTAINED SAMPLE OF ACID near the EDGE of the STATION???"

their teacher is sick of them, and said spills and banned labs severely dropped their grades. they barely passed the class

Miyake is in the "i'm probably gay but also christian and i've been taught being gay is a sin" type of way. his gay awakening was for rui during Unmissable spirited affair, before realizing it's platonic. He then realizes he like Taniyama but is in denial because religion. (no most of this headcanon is not taken from my favorite Rui angst longfic what do you mean???)

Taniyama's gay in a "i'm probably gay but i'm too busy trying to not fail my classes so idgaf" kind of way. He unknowingly falls for Miyake.

Both of them get together like 5 ish years later after high school
