"I had a really visceral reaction, I had a bit of a panic and I had to put the script down. It made me really uncomfortable. I finished the script and it made me cry and it made me feel strange. It was so beautifully written. The character of Lucy was interesting and unlike anything I’d seen before. I thought her willingness and recklessness and nihilism and her strength was really cool.
