On our way to see Streetlight Manifesto play Keasbey Nights in Toms River, Jack, Chas, and I stopped at the Manalapan location of Zapp! Comics on the way. We stopped next door at Emilio’s before we continued on to try some of that South Jersey za. I got the pepperoni and vodka slices up top. There were both pretty good. The vodka sauce was really fresh and flavorful, though it did have chunks of tomato in it that I wasn’t crazy about. The pepperoni was about the same because the sauce was kind of mediocre. Jack’s buffalo wasn’t bad either. The big turn off for me was the nausea I felt the rest of the night presumably from these slices so I don’t know if I will be going back. Also the woman at the counter thought I was trying to steal $10 when she gave me the wrong change. Worth a stop if you’re going to Zapp. Otherwise, don’t go out of your way. Chas and Jack both would have given it a 5, but I’m not so nice...
