Emberstrike of LightningClan
Jaggedstar and Cherrywhisper [Dialogue]
"All I ever wanted was your praise. Your affection. All I ever wanted in this life was you, Cherrywhisper.
But that night- The night you took off with that half-Ragged loner! You broke my heart. Shattered it. And you left it behind like you did the clan...
For that, My love~
I'll make you watch this very cat that you choose over me, Die! And know that even in death; Starclan won't welcome him But they will Welcome you.
I do wonder what happens to cats that are rejected by the Stars~"
"N-no! Jaggedstar, please I beg of you! Dont do this! He didnt do anything to deserve this!"
"No. He didn't. But you did."
-Leaping high of the Fallen bark, Jaggedstar lands his frist attack on Catcher, making the loner stumble back - Catchets ears are flat to his head and his eyes convey: Fear. Jaggedstars remining ear is pressed forward as a sickening smile curves his lips upward to show his teeth, His eyes narrowed con conveying: Joy, Pride, Dominance-
"N-no, Please!"
"This isn't all Cherrywhisper's fault- You're to blame to~ But don't worry, you'll at least see your kits- perhaps. In the afterlife of course!"
-Jaggedstar pins and slashes Catchers neck open. Catcher dies; eyes wide and dead locked with Chaerywhispers-
"Such a shame, I was hopping for a proper fight but I guess he just wasn't fit to live like the rest of the clan"
-Jaggedstar turns to face Cherrywhisper-
"Halfpelt. Rattail. Grab this traitors litter and bring them forth beside their mother."
-Halfpelt and Rattail do as ordered and bring Charrywhisper and Catchers kittens out of the nursery. These kittens are no less then a day old. Halfpelt and Rattail both looking unsure and slightly scared. Four meek kittens crawl over each other: eyes closed and marking barely visible. Muddykit, Skykit, Badgerkit and Salamanderkit-
"... Jaggedstar... Please"
"Silence! You will watch as your kin are killed in front of you! Leopardsnow! Emberstrike!"
-His deputy and Mate stared up wide-eyed in horror as he ordered the deaths of fourth day old kits. Emberstrike and Leopardsnow met eachothers eyes in shock both looking ahead toward the torn apart family: Catcher, Cherrywhisper, Muddykit, Skykit, Salamanderkit and Badgerkit. Surrounding them was Boulderscar, Rattail and Halfpelt, the trio staring down in horror their eyes falling upon the four helpless kittens as their leaders orders sank through-
"Boulderscar, Halfpelt, Rattail. Stand down and back away"
-The trio did as their deputy demanded of them, backing away from the mother and her kits. Frightened, Cherrywhisper crawls to her kittens huddling them together and effetely chickening on them, her tail is puffed and her fur standing; Teeth and claws bare. Eyes blazing with a the last droplets of scarlet love Cherrywhisper has for her kittens-
"If you want them dead. You're going to have to kill me first!"
-Emberstrike and Leopardsnow jumped in battle, fighting toe-to-toe with Cherrywhisper; Cherrywhisper fights for several minutes before Leopardsnow and Emberstrike both kill her.-
"Don't fret old friend; I'll make sure your kin live, grow and prosper. Theyâll become the greatest warriors known to the clans; I can promise you thatâ
-Drenched in blood. Emberstrike now stands between her mate; Jaggrdstar, and Cherrywhisper's Kittens.-
"My love, I am sorry but I can not allow you to kill these kittens in front of their own mother. Death is more merciful then watching your own kitten; whom you gave birth to, Die in front of your own eyes!"

The Emberstrike Legacy
Alright, so, Iâve been having a lot of fun writing swtor fan fic about my Sith Warrior. So I decided that I would take a stab at writing something coherent, a little more fleshed out. I figure, itâs a good way to dabble my way back into working on projects, and if I decide to abandon it for an actual project, thereâs no harm.
The Emberstrike Legacy
Karone Emberstrike was the heir to a great Sith legacy. The force had been flowing through her veins for several centuries now, making her familyâs legacy one of the oldest surviving. Both of her parents were Sith, having met at the academy when they were young. She was pale skinned, tall, and undeniably human. The deep red skin and golden eyes of the âtrue Sithâ had long since died out in her bloodline. For that reason, while the Emberstrike legacy was ancient, they were not as revered as those who still bore the genetic markers of their heritage.
She had grown up traveling the galaxy with her parents and oftentimes, their companions. The hum of a ship, deep conversation, and peels of laughter were the sounds that lulled her to sleep as a child. She was schooled by her parents in practical matters as well as academia, and she grew to be a strong, resourceful young woman. But there was one topic that she heard her parents speak of only after everyone else was fast asleep. Their soft voices became strained as they conveyed their passion in hushed tones.
âShe is our legacy,â her mother hissed. âHer place at the academy has been assured since birth. With her talents, she is bound to become the apprentice to a great Lord.â
âElana, no. The academy is not what it was when we were there. They are gearing up for more conflict with the Republic. They are recruiting anyone with even a speck of force potential. You know that there is far less prestige to be had â they are far more concerned with churning out bloodthirsty killers.â
âWould you deny my heir her chance for greatness?â
âShe can be great without a lightsaber.â
Karone heard her mother scoff.
âYou donât think that she can handle herself, do you?â
âShe is our daughter â of course she could.â
âThen why do you stop her?â
âI do not like what the Sith are becoming. They have embraced the darkness too fully. There is much to learn from the light.â âBite your tongue!â
âQuiet, Elana.â
Her motherâs voice dropped. Karone had to take a few steps further down the hall in order to hear. Even then, she strained to hear over her heartbeat.
ââŚIn thousands of years! If others knewâŚâ
âSuppressing these ideas is why the sides are so far apart now. There was once a time when the Sith and the Jedi were not so different.â Karone couldnât help but smile. Her father, the scholar.
âYour daughter willâŚâ
Karone felt a hand clap down on her shoulder. She silently wheeled around. Kahuk, her fatherâs long time Mandalorian friend, held a finger to his lips. He released her shoulder and pointed back down the corridor, towards her quarters. Karone shook her head. Kahuk tilted his chin down â he towered over even her. The dim light caught the silver flecks of his hair. He shook his head slowly, then pointed.
She knew that this was not an argument she could win. It was the only way to avoid being exposed, so she walked back to her quarters, pondering her fate as sleep washed over her.
It was not normal to see such division between her parents. They had always presented a united front. She now wondered what pains they had taken to make this appearance possible.
Fortunately, she did not have to wonder about her future for long. They docked at an Imperial port on Tattooine a day later, and rather than the excavation trip that had been planned, they found themselves faced with a Sith Lord. The look on her fatherâs face was pure outrage. He knew, as Karone guessed, that her mother had decided to take matters into her own hands. She wondered whether her father would make a scene, but it was all handled calmly.
Lord Varek feigned surprise at seeing her mother, and she at him. He then glanced over at Karone. She had met Sith friends of her parents before, but never one with red eyes. It was intriguing and yet, she looked away. She had thought herself braver than this.
Varek asked about Karone â was she doing well in her studies? Then, the question that changed everything. Had her Force potential been evaluated? Her mother responded that no, it hadnât. Her tone was so smooth, she made it sound as trivial as if she had forgotten to pick up eggs.
She must be evaluated! Why, Lord Varek just happened to have the time. How fortunate, her mother responded. Karone was then whisked away to confirm what every Force sensitive person could tell from half a planet away â she was very strong in the Force.
