Makena: They dont have to like what our disciples did...but I fear they wouldn't like us if we had done the same...

        “Okay happy campers! If you were a fruit what would you be and why?”         ”I’d be a tomato because no one accepts me as part of the group.”         Lex blankly stared at the seven year old.         ”OKAY HAPPY CAMPERS-“         ”Why are you yelling?” Another child raised her hands to cover her ears.         ”I honestly don’t even know why I signed up for this sometimes.” Lex gave the kids a little push towards their cabin. “But that’s a me problem. So come on, let’s all go back to the cabin and get ready for the lake.” Once all the kids were back in the cabin and changing to their bathing suits, Lex glanced back over the campgrounds. As their eyes briefly crossed over everything outside, they saw another counselor ushering her own group. Alice. Right. That’s why they were doing this.

        "Oh look at the stars! Ursa Major... so beautiful!"         Isabel held back a chuckle and settled on a smile since the sight in front of her was pretty funny. Alex was sprawled out on the couch facing the ceiling, both arms up as he pointed with a lazy grin.         "We're inside. Those are just ceiling lights."          Alex tilted his head at her now and gave an incredibly sad look. "Really?"         The chuckle was harder to fight this time. "Do you even know what the Ursa Major looks like?"         He scrunched his nose. "Ya, roar. Or whatever noise they make."         Isabel paused for a moment. "...alright."

My girlfriend: Many, many people disagree with you there

Dr. Lara: Hey, did you know that the person's voice is the first thing you forget about someone? Mr. King: Really? Dr. Lara: Yeah.. Wanna check if it's true? Mr. King: I'm intriguied, show me. Dr. Lara: Think about your teacher from elementary school. Do you remember how their voice sounds like? Mr. King: I.. don't remember! You're right! Dr. Lara: See? You just have to think about it for a while! Mr. King: I think I have even more to learn about our brains with you. We should have those talks more often. Dr. Lara: I know! But think about it, what it would feel like to.... forget someones face? Not just some random person you met on a playground and never saw again, but someone you deeply care about. Mr. King: like, just how much we care about eachother? Damn you really like to make things dark. Dr. Lara: I liked these kind of topics since I was a little girl. Human psychology is just so mysterious and intriguing, shame that I can't tell you every little fact about our brains. Mr. King: But I'll keep reminding you about the daily dose of knowkedge ☆ Dr. Lara: Just hope... I won't forget your face...
