I haven't done ANY work today btw everyone clap for me resting!! We watched a movie and hung out, and mostly I sat and played Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. I am quite enjoying it despite how pushy it is about the christian evil/good silliness, it's even worse than the BG games imo
I really like Woljif, I just think he's cute, we've just picked up Count Daeran and obviously i LOVE him, he's so pretty and haughty and casually awful
I love Ember to absolute pieces, I think she's such a fascinating little freak and her endless empathy is as charming as it is tragic
I am less interested in Camellia and Seelah thus far, and I like how much Lann bickers with Woljif but unfortunately find him a little dull on his own merits; I like what Nenio has going on and how fucked up her selective amnesia is
a problem I have with the BG videogames is that despite being a world that's so impacted by its pantheons your options for character or world decisions that involve their faith and especially like, paladin or cleric or scholarly loyalty is so limited, outside of say, Sharrite stuff in BG3
Or similar canon character stuff
Because Pathfinder WOTR is going so hard on the angel and demon stuff, that's even worse. I've not made a single in-game roleplaying decision that has involved the god my character is dedicated to 'cause there hasn't been an option, and it's just a bummer
It defo is very good about showing historical gods and worship, and there are active priests and clerics - it's defo making me itch to work on godfrey digbett and the silent caverns
But as a game it's fun, it's cute, the non-demon monsters are great fun, and I like the humour
