So, because I'm bored, I've been deciding what Hermits would be called, their professions, etc, if they were in my fantasy world.
The naming convention for surnames is a combination of 2 words (Fire-Heart, Small-Branch, eg). When you have children/start a household, the family is made by taking one half of each person's surname and sticking them together. This is also basically how they make in-world shipnames.
The name I found for Scar in this system is Scarryn Everflower
Grian's name I found is Egris Sunfeather
THE COMBINED NAME OF GRIAN AND SCAR WOULD BE SUNFLOWER-

-A poor poor Life Series fan who hasn't left the sunflower fields.
Silly Game Time: Who are some canine characters you really like, and why? They could be literal canids (dogs, wolves, foxes, etc.) who are entirely animals. Or characters who are animals with some human behaviors (such as the ability to think, speak, and act like humans, etc.). Or characters who are defined by being part canine and part something else (like werewolves or kitsune, etc.). Or they could even be entirely human, but have canine vibes in your opinion.
They can be from any genre of any media (movies, shows, books, comics, games, etc.) (OCs count, too, if you like). All that matters is that they are canine-coded, and you like them!

He's just so cool and chill we love him. (And then becomes a mad king again)
Honestly I've really grown to love Mr Peanutbutter from BoJack Horseman. His one braincell is so proud of itself it forgets to thoughts, and the dynamic with Todd is hilarious.
And then my OCs, Amethyst and Storm, who used to be able to turn into wolves in a previous draft a million years ago, the siblings who are a staple of the billions of drafts and cause of the single Canon Event within the ever-changing story and universe.
Honestly they still give me wolf energy, even all these years later. Amethyst just has that fierceness sometimes. And Storm is one protective boi.
My best piece of digital art from each month!
January: Kinda a piece from the last day of December last year, but none of the other pieces from Jan were very good. Watcher Cub! I like how clean it is, and the design is really cool (especially the wings, I really like them)
February: Wizard Martyn. A little simple, but the background makes it.
March: I adore cyberpunk Grian. So much. The background is so detailed, the character is great. I made the right choice in keeping it with black outlines, because it looks more comicky. One of my favourite parts of the entire piece is the poster of what bands will be playing and the fact Oli keeps adding gigs for himself.
April: My iPad background: Sleepy convex. Coloured completely with the colour you see, instead of going in with dark layers over everything later. Don’t know how I managed that, because I couldn’t do it now, 8 months in the future.
May: Jellyfish Jevin! Mermaid xB! Idk, I just like this piece. (And it’s the best of the month)
June: Convex day of Duos June! They dressed up in their version of Ren and Martyn in Third Life. It was the best art of the set, and not just because Convex. It just turned out the best.
July: Convex as Watchers, not just Cub. It just… looks good. I do prefer the Watcher design I did for Cub previously though
August: Vex Doc. Just cool. And clean. And I like how subtle the lighting is
September: My OCs, Auran and Cayran. I like the character design, and it’s rather clean
October: More Convex cuddles! Stargazing convex! I just like it. It’s so cute.
November: My favourite piece of digital art to date. Death God Jimmy. So freaking cool. Yes, it took ages, but it was so worth it.
December: more OC action, with my redesign of my character Ivy. I like the colour choice. And I like how the braids turned out.
I did not intend for so much of this to be Convex but… I probably should’ve expected it. Knowing me.

Silly Game Time: If you had to choose, which kind of dragon would you be? Details could include cultural inspiration (West European, East Asian, Arabian, South American, etc.), size, number of limbs and wings, similarity of body parts to other animals, coloration, elemental qualities or other powers (fire or ice breath, control over rain, etc.), habitat and behavior patterns, and so on. This could be based on real-world mythology and folklore, specific characters or categories from fiction, or be your own choices entirely.
You are asking this question to the person who designed 5 dragons a week ago.
I will go for my crazy ass Aurai (light/dark) dragons. They are more east asian in the fact they are long bois with how many legs and HOW MANY WINGS??
They can fly, turn invisible, and mess with your eyesight. Literal trolls.
Also they are rainbow and change colour at will.
Epic.

They can be entirely inhuman, partially human, or nearly fully human in their appearance and behavior; they can be derived from real-world mythology/folklore/urban legends or entirely original to their authors; they can be essentially just misunderstood animals, or creatures driven by deliberate malevolence, or basically persons with their own complex motives and morals.
And they can be from any genre of any media (movies, shows, books, comics, games, etc.) (OCs count, too, if you like). All that matters is that they are monstrous and you like them!
Literally just finished the first part of a fanfic multishot where one of the characters hides in the forest with severe fungus sickness, and the local village turned him into local folklore of the 'Rotwood Monster', running around turning people like him, when he's just got very severe agoraphobia.
But- uh- otherwise...
Discord from MLP is a legend, and always will be. He is insane, he is the definition of chaotic evil and we adore him for it.
There's literally an entire episode where he pretends to be sick for absolutely no reason other than chaos.
