3: My OC girl Dustfur who is definitely a little bit cat

A request for a friend, as I try to get used to this phone. I miss Sai so much XD But at least as far as sketching goes, it’s nice to have a digital sketchbook with me at all times without needing to bring along a pad of paper and then feel bad if I never actually draw anything...

Dustpaw "From this moment on until you recieve your warrior name you shall be known as Dustpaw!" The leader of Thunderclan said. The small brown tabby tom lifted his head in the air in excitement. "Yes I got my apprentice name this is great!" He said in his head. "Dustpaw can also attend the gathering this moon." The leader said. Dustpaws eyes widened. "My first gathering!" He thought excitedly. A bit later the rest of the cats were ready and they started making there way to the gathering Dustpaws tail was flicking in excitement. Crowpaw an older apprentice rolled her eyes and sped up leaving him behind but Dustpaw didn't mind. I wonder if I'll make any friends? He wondered. When they reached the island Dustpaws nose was assaulted by the smells of countless other clans. He smelt the fishy smell of Riverclan and a tinge of rabbit on the lithe skinnier cats that he saw. He followed his clan into the gathering being told by his mentor to find the other apprentices. Not wanting to disappoint he started walking around looking for the apprentices. "Hi!" He heard from behind him causing him to jump and whip around. A small light brown and white Tom with green eyes was staring at him. His whiskers were twitching in amusement and Dustpaw could make out the distinct smell of rabbit. Windclan! He realized. The cats pelt was also really dirty as if he was rolling in sand. Dustpaw realized then that he still hadn't answered. "Um hi." Dustpaw answered. "Your Thunderclan right? Well that's cool I'm Windclan." The other cat said. "What's your name?" Dustpaw asked. "Oh silly me sorry. I'm Dustpaw!" The other cat said. "What no way I'm Dustpaw too!" Dustpaw said happily laughing. The other Dustpaws eyes widened, "What? That's awesome!" The other Dustpaw laughed. Just then the leaders called the clans to start. Dustpaw didn't even realize that Shadowclan appeared until then. He looked over at Dustpaw who's green eyes were studying him. Dustpaw smiled under the other toms gaze. This gathering was even greater then he could have ever dreamed. Many moons later Dustpaw now Dustfur was heading to the gathering his head high. He remembered when he was younger and how he felt on his first gathering. Now he was bigger and had been in many fights and he wasn't as scared but he was just as excited this would be his first gathering as a warrior and he couldn't wait! When they reached the gathering only Riverclan was there and Dustfur started heading to a group of warriors. One was a silver tabby she-cat and the other a dark blue one. "Hello." The silver tabby welcomed. Dustfur nodded in acknowledgment as he sat down with them. Just then a yowl could be heard as Shadowclan and Windclan appeared. Dustfur looked before he shrugged and started to the she-cats. Just then they were joined by three other cats. One was a Black she-cat from Shadowclan and she sat next to the blue furred she-cat. The other was a lithe light brown tabby she-cat with bright amber eyes who sat next to the silver she-cat. Finally the last one sat down next to Dustfur. For some reason this one looked familiar to him. He sat there and studied him and noted his brown and white pelt and the way his green eyes started to study the other cats. His pelt looked dirty though almost as if he was rolling around in sand. Sand. Sand. Dust. Dustpaw! "Your the other Dustpaw!" Dustfur blurted out. The other tom jumped in surprise before he turned to look at Dustfur his eyes widened. "Yeah but I'm Dustfur now." He said. Dustfur couldn't believe it. "OH MY STARCLAN! I am too what the heck!" He said. They stared at each other in silence the other cats watching before they burst out laughing. "What next is the forest going to have two Duststars?" Windclan Dustfur joked. "Hmm is that a challenge?" Dustfur asked smirking. "You wait I'll be leader before you!" Dustfur shot back. The two smiled at each other and after that they remained best friends.
