…“Notice how when the rain falls it merges into the greater oceans and rivers, but does the drop retain its form or does it dissolve into forms beyond the unconscious unknown? Many feel that when the time comes for our ego to die, we too will but dissolve into the greater cosmic ocean, but when we self reflect on this process we will notice it is our conscious awareness that dissolves into the great silence, not unlike the same process we go through as we lay down to sleep each and every night. Think about it this way, if tomorrow was your last day here; are you really ready for that transcendence? What you will notice is almost no one is quiet ready for that moment, but having the inner practice at least helps us get further during that final process, past the barriers of fear that keep us from becoming a living immortal. Notice how our consciousness continues without the memories of this existence when we are in the dream realm, it's easy to think that merging with the Universal source eliminates our consciousness, but we tend to confuse memory and form with who we really are! Just because there is no memory of our dreams, does not mean we did not dream, and just because we do not remember our past lives, does not negate the existence of those previous patterns and forms. If one looks closer at that which we call the ocean, it may look calm and void of consciousness when looking at it from the surface, but the fearless explorers reveal patterns of a conscious paradigm that exists outside of human memories and the egos knowledge. And if we do not do the work today as inner explorers, the work of self reflecting on our own inner ocean, the same blind patterns will only continue to lead our lives and we will but call it the unconscious!
