Why do we have a cup for Eliyahu at the seder?
Because we hope this will be the night when Eliyahu comes to announce Moshiach
Because Eliyahu comes to every seder every year
Both
Neither
What is this poll even talking about
Knock, knock.
—Who’s there?
Elijah.
—Oh right, sorry.
elija/eliyahu for the ask post? also, job (though that might be a bit difficult)
Eliyahu:
Eliyahu would be a Wizard because he's so powerful and can manipulate reality (life/death, especially) and even though his body is gone his spirit has been at every Seder and Brit Milah for thousands of years. His alignment would be Chaotic Good. Sometimes the dude's chaotic, and there's no way his student Elisha didn't learn his chaotic-ness from him.
Iyov (Job):
Hmmm.....he would be a Druid. He was devoted to G-d and yet nature struck back at him. I think he'd be like.....a Druid whose connection to nature is an adversarial one. Obviously the book of Iyov is highly metaphorical, but the figure Iyov would be a druid.
His alignment would be Lawful Good. The first Pasuk of Iyov literally refers to him as "Pious and Upstanding", he's the very definition of Lawful Good.
