Eliocalypse pt 2: he ran out of room inside his room, and so he moved it all outside
Chop, chop. Someone’s been busy in the Sadida Kingdom.
This doesn't look good, no.
Oh hey, Sylargh.
"It's not like we're going to go to war over a few trees..."
You'd be surprised, Sylargh, you'd be surprised...
"Don’t worry, I know Count Harebourg sent you. In fact, I'm actually your newest ally!"
WE ARE JUST GOING TO LIE TO HIM LIKE THAT???!!??????? 😭😭😭😭😭
I find it relevant to to mention that:
1. We know each other from previous squirmishes
2. Have probably battled him as a boss in the Frozen Tower dungeon (Harebourg castle)
3. Caught you stealing from said Harebourg castle with a Friend. (And correctly identified said Friend as a Dimensional Voyager)
Hook, line, and sinker. This is the disastrous life those of us with face blindless experience everyday. Idc. He's so real for this.
You know, if you wanted to devastate an ecosystem via deforestation, you should have gone to Bonta. It's legal! As long as you know who to pay in the city of good and bribery. Maybe the Bonta ecosystem is already too dried up for their purposes though... Have you seen what they've done to the prespic population? Exactly. You haven't seen them.
He does realize the blunder quite quickly, and decides to fight you about it. I'll spare you the battle; between Sylargh's tankiness, increased level, and my barely valid poison spam strategy, you're not missing out much.
You can be surprisingly persuasive when you've just beaten someone to a pulp.
Here is the transcript of the post-fight dialogue, for your convenience:
Player Character: That's enough Sylargh. You fought valiantly.
Sylargh: I can't lose! I'm the only one helping the Master with his plan... All the others have abandoned him!
PC: All right then, explain it to me. What's Count Harebourg's big plan that requires him to conquer all these different kingdoms by force?
S: You wouldn't understand it. Only a true genius with a true vision can understand...!
PC: Just to be clear, we're talking about the same genius who fell right into an obvious trap? You remember... the old, "Hey, we're friends, right? Tell me your whole plan..."
PC: Come on, tell me where he is. This nonsense has gone on long enough.
S: I don't know, exactly. I think he's in one of the Divine Dimensions.
PC, thinking: He must be somewhere in the Xelor Dimension...
PC: Thank you, Sylargh. You've done the World of Twelve a big favour.
PC, thinking: I'd better find some way to deactivate these Saw Mechas... And tell the Sadida King everything.
Harebourg can access at least one of the Divine Dimensons
