before more folks embarrass themselves while making gifsets or whatever: the old lady who Joan said “okay, that’s not very nice to” to was speaking Cantonese, Sherlock was also speaking Canto over the phone and the only Mandarin spoken in the episode was in the opener with the guy begging for his life (”don’t kill me!”)

I’m not angry, I didn’t believe for a second that Joan and Marcus were getting together. That said I wish after all of that that it turned out they were doin’ after all. heheh! oh well.

So here is my ideal scenario regarding Joanbell tomorrow. The episode totally convinces both us and Sherlock that they aren't doing it. Turns out they were planning a surprise party or looking into a cold case file to find Joan's biological father, or maybe something about Marcus. And the whatever that is gets resolved. But then in the last 30 seconds we find out that they are doing it. They started doing it during the course of the investigation and they both like it so much they plan to keep on doing it and thank God Sherlock has no clue for now.
