Utterly hypnotic, the track serves up something for both the feet and the heart and the mesmerising groove back up haunting and heartfelt vocals. Like Gesaffelstein going SynthPop, or Front 242 doing Deep House; Don't You Want To Love? Keeps you guessing while drawing you into it's world. The reMixes keep things locked to the Manchester area with Techno producer Weeva rolling out a lavish Dub version of the tune, SynthWaver The Sanfernando Sound delivering a retro, moody, SynthPop epic and one of the shining lights of the Italo scene, Kid Machine, taking the track into dark Spacesynth territories. About https://soundcloud.com/techniquesmusic Multi-instrumentalist James Mulholland, also known as Techniques, is a Manchester-based songwriter and electronic artist who began making his first recordings from the bedroom laying down drums, bass lines, guitars, synths and vocals all using one microphone and āwhatever else was lying aroundā.Now producing his own brand of melancholic electronica/ house music. Having made his dĆ©but on KitsunĆ© Music Techniques is set to release the fantastic single Donāt You Want To Love? via label electronic rumors. http://electronicrumors.com/2014/09/25/download-starcadians-wrecking-shot/ Back in 2012, when we were just getting to know his work, New Yorkās synthesizer mastermind @Starcadian released what is possibly one of the best mashups ever unleashed on the world. First Kill crammed in Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, Pharoahe Monch, Queen, Belinda Carlisle, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Busta Rhymes and Wu Tang Clan over some seriously hard hitting Disco sounds. Now, with one of our favourite albums of last year, Sunset Blood, under his belt, and with the storming new Saturdaze EP, on the horizon Starcadian drags you back to the dancefloor with his follow-up bootleg. This is Wrecking Shot. This time around Miley Cyrus, Ol' Dirty Bastard & Kelis and Tracy Weber get run through Starcadianās galactic groove machine and spat out the other side in as a mirror-balled glam jam. Piled high with the finest French Touch, Nu-Disco and a surprising amount of Italo, Wrecking Shot once again surprises us as Starcadian makes seemingly disparate songs weave in and out of each other seamlessly. Where Fist Kill was full throttle Electro, Wrecking Shot has a smooth and soulful side. This should more than keep you going until Starcadian brings his urban synth Disco, with a Saturday morning TV theme vibe, on the new EP. Starcadianās Sunset Blood is out now. The Saturdaze EP is released 26th September.
