pre canon:

chell likes to bake in aperture when office work is slow, and wheatley likes to (try and) help and more than once they’ve started a flour fight and come out a total mess

wheatley sets off the sprinklers in the office at least once a week and i hc that chell and the boys that would later be the cores work in the same office and after they save their files they have Fun in the water before fixing it

chell is quite smug and way more confident than he is pre canon so like. any moves that are made by her are followed up w this big warm smug smile and him dithering and stuttering all over the place

chell is like. an entire foot shorter than him

his hands never stop moving whereas she is always perfectly calm and still it’s this wonderful juxtaposition 

when he ‘goes missing’ (aka, gets abducted for the core transfer) she’s frantic. i also hc that he’s the last to go (first rick, who she’s super close with, then andy, fact core, then kevin, space core, THEN wheatley) so she’s alone in her big office where they used to have so much fun before glados ruins everyone’s lives

canon:

not much for canon tbh as chassis wheatley can kiss my ass and she hates him, but she places his voice and she just can’t remember where from. her memories of her first escape are quite hazy so she just assumes she met him then

whenever he says something particularly insensitive/anything at all actually she gets this irritated look on her face and huffs and sighs and basically is a bitch but closer to the escape when she sees him as a friend and not just an ally that stops and she starts laughing at the sillier things he says

post canon:

HOOO BOY. alright so on the assumption he doesnt come back from space she watches the night sky a lot and just… remembers him. she knows she lost something that day but she just can’t place what she lost

something’s wrong with her memory (be it the trauma or actual medical damage) so for the fucking life of her she can’t remember his name 

there’s a lamp in her room that gives off this soft blue light and she hates that she likes it so much because she’s fucking mad at him, goddamn it
