I helped out with some fx work on one of the Scrat Tales shorts back in the Blue Sky Studios days. A treat working with Jonah on these shots.
So there I am, explaining to my husband that the reason I am making that face at the computer is because I am doing research, and that I desperately need to find out the exact power load capacity of early 1900s K&T wiring that has asphalt and cloth insulation and lacks a neutral fuse...
So he, an experienced HVAC tech that regularly works in old buildings with archaic wiring systems, whips out his work phone to try and look it up for me, without even asking what the story is about or why this information is so crucial, just knowing that I need to know this....
And he can't find the information, but damn it! He's gonna keep looking until he does!
