Holy shit…Scrat ate Manny…

Oh mannnnn...well if you know me the main thing that I'M wishing for is for Scrat to reunite with Scratte alongside Baby Scrat since from what we heard, this film will take place mostly in the Dinosaur world. Scratte understandably beats the shit out of Scrat at first due him dumping her for an acorn but then when Baby Scrat accidentally puts himself in danger, Scrat and Scratte go out of their way to protect him while also still competing for the acorn and then essentially become Baby Scrat's parents in the end.

And yeah I KNOW that sounds way too good to be true and I'm definitely not getting my hopes up on that one and sadly I don't think it'd be wise of me to hope for Scratte appearing in the film at all but if not most of the movie...maybe at least at the very end of it? Like make Scrat's final scene be them reuniting with Scratte and then becoming a family at the end? Again, too good to be true and just the unrealistic wishes of a hard longtime Scrat/Scratte shipper but my god would that make me the happiest girl on Earth. <333 And if Scratte doesn't get a big role in the film maybe at least we could get another cameo like in 4 or 5? Sure that wouldn't be as big as her coming back to have an ACTUAL role in the Scrat plotline but it'd still make me squeal with joy given how hard I squealed the first time I saw her cameo as a siren in 4!! <D

But yeah chances are it's gonna be mostly focused on Scrat and Baby Scrat which is still totally fine since they do have a very funny and sometimes genuinely sweet relationship! ^^ And some people are theorizing that now that Scrat FINALLY got his acorn, maybe this movie will be about Scrat teaching Baby Scrat how to get it especially since he's got that little acorn pacifier but it also wouldn't surprise me if they're still sticking to the status quo and having them both chase after the acorn lmao.

So if that ends up being the case, once again I say do NOT let Disney gaslight you into thinking that Scrat never got his acorn! Should they stick to that status quo just assume that Scrat ate it sometime after every other movie he might appear in!

Plus hey it might be the closest we'll ever get to that cancelled second season of Scrat Tales Blue Sky was originally going to work on which I can totally get behind. ^^ Even if it's still really painful that they're not the ones continuing their story...
