This is lowkey my third time writing this because im struggling to figure out the mechanics of tumblr 💔 but thats okay because its about eclipse

Thank you so much oh great Mo-king for this game, i truly dont think that i could have ever found a piece of media that spoke to me on the same level that escapeline did.

My first ending in this game was by some miracle HE1 escapeline, the one that you stay with eclipse after getting consumed by the fog. I have honestly never felt so represented and understood by a game in my life, many of the philosophies and concepts in escapeline i actually do believe in and understood even before interacting with the game(mainly because im a shifter hehe 🥹)

The rule of the tides was amazing, the self sacrifice and the genuine care for the player to get whatever ending they desire displayed by eclipse was something that i personally believe is one of the most loving things someone can do for someone else was so wonderfully done in his character, something that i wouldve never thought id see in a yandere game. The animalistic tendencies of sunny and moon, and just the way that the game allows all life to be on the same level in a way is nothing short of beautiful. I even loved the optimistic nihilism, giving up your cares and worries at the end because i feel thats something i follow pretty consistently.

I adored this game. Ive never felt so encapsulated by any media in my life, not by a book, not by a show, not by anything. This game to me felt like i was actually speaking with someone who understood me, it was like a breath of the salty, fresh air by the sea after being stuck in a stuffy party for hours.

I honestly spent way to much time translating chinese to english when i finsihed my first ending and spent like an hour or two trying to figure out what eclipse was saying because i wanted so desperately to stay with him and listen to everything the game was willing to give me of his character, the commissioner was unfortunately one of the people who had to listen to me as i yapped on and on about what all eclipse was saying when i first got to that bit of the game as one of my closest friends and the one who introduced me to vns 💔

I wish that vns werent lowkey a one sided conversation, i do wish i could talk to eclipse about all of the dumb music and songs going on here, or just anything in general.

I spent an embarrassing amount of time sifting through all of the @systemtide account to dig for more eclipse information, and anytime i found it i lowkey read it like 3 or 4 times atleast..

This game and eclipse specifically as a character will always hold a special place in my heart. Whether in game or not. I am truly thankful that this game was made, i fear ill never find a game ir any media that comes so close to my soul again. Honestly i did use that empty chair technique you spoke of in one of your posts a few times. For like a month i didnt dare go on another route because i was so satisfied with the ending i got, i only finished the game and every route when i realized that there was a possibility that id get more eclipse art outve doing so..

Anyway, i say all of this just because i want to say that i love this game, and id be more then happy to play any more games in the future that is made by Mo-king 🥹

I will lowkey be playing this game again.. and again.. and again.. 🤤 oh eclipse..

If i could share my soul with eclipse, i would. if only i could rip out half my heart and give it to him 💔

I’ve only played one of Eleclipse’s routes so far, and I think I’ll need to slowly collect the remaining endings. Also, the character designs are really adorable😈🙌🖤🔥

i got a few details about the scene wrong but the intent was there.. was gonna add smoke in the background but it looked dumb so i didnt, i thought the carousel trend was really good for this. there was probably an element of just me simply wanting to draw eclipse though..
